QUÉBEC CITY, March 27, 2023 /CNW/ - On Thursday, March 30, 2023, Québec Ombudsman Marc–André Dowd will release the findings of his special report titled Under tutorship but vulnerable nonetheless: protect the assets of incapable adults under public protective supervision regimes. This report stemmed from an investigation into the Curateur public's supervision of private tutors' patrimonial administration of the people they represent and, notably, their effectiveness in detecting cases of financial abuse and in intervening if necessary.
The news conference will take place at 11 a.m. at the Evelyn-Dumas Room 1.30 of the Pamphile-Le May Building (1035, rue des Parlementaires). It will be live-streamed at assnat.qc.ca
