The number of eligible applications submitted has surpassed the maximum number of applications that can be received for more than one group of sponsors under the current application intake period. Consequently, random draws were held on April 12, 2022, under the supervision of auditors from the firm Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton and in the presence of witnesses in order to determine the applications that can be received and reviewed by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (the Ministère).
Of the 1677 applications submitted between January 18 and February 16, 2022, a total of 425 eligible applications for groups of 2 to 5 natural persons and 318 eligible applications for legal persons (organizations) will be received.
The Ministère has contacted all of the spokespersons for groups of 2 to 5 natural persons and legal persons (organizations), of which at least one undertaking application will be received.
