Changes to business immigration programs published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on November 8 came into effect on January 1, 2024.

The three programs for business people have been improved to facilitate their integration, in French, into the business community and to ensure their continued participation in the region where they settle.

As with all economic immigration programs, a satisfactory knowledge of French is now required for those wishing to settle in Québec as investors, entrepreneurs or self-employed workers.
