November 1, 2022, the Curateur public du Québec is implementing a new service called the assistance measure 
. We’ve created a second online survey so you can tell us more about your needs and expectations, and what you think about the new measure.
The assistance measure allows any person living with a difficulty (e.g., functional limitation, mild intellectual disability, age-related loss of autonomy, etc.) to designate one or two people of their choice as their assistants. The assistants can advise and support the person in making decisions and managing their property but will not be authorized to make decisions for them.

Even if you already did so in August 2021, we invite you to retake the survey on the new assistance measure, as some questions have been changed and new ones added.
