Ceremony 2024 Québec Aboriginal Chiefs of Police Annual Meeting
The 15th Quebec Aboriginal Chiefs of Police Annual Meeting, and the first organised by Quebec Association of the First Nation and Inuit police directors (QAFNIPD), took place from June 11 to 13 at Lévis Convention center. M. François Bonnardel, Minister of Public Security, was present at the opening to announce the granting of a subsidy of more than $146 million over five years to aboriginal police forces to ensure their stabilization and their reinforcement. An additional sum of $17.8 million will also be granted to renew and renovate certain police infrastructures.
