Digital Competency Framework in Education and Higher
The Digital Competency Framework, which consists of 12dimensions, aims to foster the development of digital competency throughout Québec’s educational community.
It was designed to increase student autonomy and critical thinking skills with regard to the use of digital technology in an educational or professional context, or in everyday life.
Digital competency is essential in today’s world to prepare future workers for tomorrow’s challenges, while technological innovations are transforming the labour market and influencing the skills sought by employers.
Two tools have been developed to facilitate the implementation of the Framework.
