The Digital Competency Framework (PDF 5.37 Mb) (English forthcoming), which consists of 12dimensions, aims to foster the development of digital competency in the education community and throughout the population of Québec. It fosters a confident, critical, creative, responsible and sustainable use of digital technology in educational and professional contexts as well as in day-to-day life.
Digital competency is essential for preparing citizens to better understand innovations in digital technology, effectively address them and use them to their full potential.
The current version is an update to the Digital Competency Framework, initially published in 2019. This update takes into account major changes in recent years, such as the development of artificial intelligence, and ensures closer harmonization with the needs of the education sector.
A poster (PDF 1.30 Mb) is available (in French only) to familiarize people in your educational institution with the Framework.
