How to register for online French courses for Canadian-born persons

You can register for an online French courses with in-person support (deferred distance learning) in an adult education centre anywhere in Québec.

Registration process

  1. Consult the list of adult education centres that offer deferred distance learning (PDF 160 Kb).
  2. Contact the educational institution of your choice directly to apply for admission. A contact person will help you with your application.

If you have never studied in Québec, you must provide: 

  • An official photo ID (health insurance card);
  • Your birth certificate.

If you have studied in Québec, you must provide the following 2 documents

  • An official photo ID (health insurance card);
  • An official document indicating your permanent code (transcript or record of learning).

The training centre may require other documents, depending on your situation (whether or not you studied in Québec).

You will know the start date of the courses after you register.

Charges may apply for learning materials.
