Applying for admission to specialized French courses by field of employment for Canadian-born persons
Information to provide
To apply for a specialized French course by field of employment, you must provide one of the following documents:
- A birth certificate issued by a provincial or territorial vital statistics office in Canada;
- Certificate of Canadian citizenship issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC);
- Certificate of Registration of a Canadian Birth Abroad issued by IRCC.
Fill out the online application form
To apply for admission to specialized French courses by field of employment:
- Click the “Access the admission platform” button at the bottom of the page to access the admission platform (in French only).
- Click on the button “Cours de français à temps partiel pour les personnes immigrantes et canadiennes de naissance” (Part-time French courses for immigrants and Canadian-born persons).
- Create an account on the Apprendre le français platform. If you already have an account,
log in to it . - Click on "Créer un nouveau dossier" (Create a new application) on your account home page and select "Demande d'admission à un cours de français à temps partiel pour les personnes canadiennes de naissance" (Application for admission to a part-time French course for Canadian-born persons).
- In the form, under the “Course Preferences” section, select the option “Specialized French courses by field of employment” for the question: Indicate your preferred type of course. You must also select the preferred field of employment. A built-in geolocation map available to help you find the nearest training location to your postal code area.
