  • Determine the type of footwear to be made and obtain measurements from customers.
  • Select patterns, leather, or other materials.
  • Select and mount shapes, attach soles, and sew or glue other parts.
  • Cut, trim, and finish boots or shoes.
  • Assess the cost of custom-made shoes and collect payment.
