These individuals organize and lead excursions and expeditions. They are self-employed or work for:

Main tasks

  • Establish excursion or expedition itineraries.
  • Ensure the transportation of people and groups to activity sites.
  • Gather and inspect the necessary equipment and accessories.
  • Accompany individuals or groups during activities.
  • Teach people various activities (canoeing, rafting, mountain climbing, etc.).
  • Inform people about safety and emergency measures, proper use of equipment and materials, and hunting and fishing regulations.
  • Ensure safety during activities, ensure respect for the environment, and prevent violations.
  • Provide first aid in emergencies and activate emergency plans.
  • Prepare, as required, meals for the members of the group.
  • Organize the camp, as required.
