These individuals adjust, assemble, and construct heavy industrial machinery and transportation equipment.

Main tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to determine assembly procedures.
- Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build machinery and industrial equipment.
- Move and align machine subsets and components.
- Install large components (gearboxes, pumps, motors, etc.).
- Check parts, subsets and finished products for quality control.
