These individuals assist personnel involved in the drilling and maintenance of oil and gas wells. They ensure the proper operation of equipment.

- Handle sections of drill rods.
- Ensure the maintenance of drilling equipment.

- Assist in setting up, dismantling, and transporting platforms, equipment, and maintenance fixtures.
- Drive trucks to transport equipment and materials, as required.
