Job description
These individuals make parts and moulds that produce composite material parts (e.g. fibreglass panels). They are employed by companies in this industry.
Environment

Main tasks
- Prepare the required equipment according to the task to be performed.
- Carry the laminating mould to the work area.
- Apply different lamination techniques (filling, wetting, debubblizing, etc.).
- Inspect manufactured parts for defects and verify their compliance with specifications and standards.
Advancement and mobility
- Experience leads to supervisory positions.
Training and requirements
Formation
Most training programs are offered in French only.
Secondary
Sometimes required
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate may be required or an asset.
