Job description
These individuals use equipment designed to apply treatments (metallization, anodizing, etc.) to the surface of products.
Environment
- Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks
- Clean and maintain equipment and machinery.
- Use appropriate machinery and equipment to process parts according to job specifications.
- Control equipment parameters (angle, flow, speed, etc.) to achieve the desired result.
- Inspect the parts to ensure the quality of the work.
- Detect problems and implement solutions.
- Fill out production forms.
Advancement and mobility
- Experience leads to supervisory positions.
Training and requirements
Formation
Most training programs are offered in French only.
Secondary
Sometimes required
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certificate may be required or an asset.
