- Estimate the costs and time required for the design of electrical and electronic components, networks, and installations.
- Develop design specifications, and design and evaluate the performance of such systems and networks.
- Develop electronic products by conducting simulations and integrating micro or nano devices.
- Monitor and verify the installation, modification, and operation of systems and devices.
- Develop and ensure compliance with maintenance and operating standards.
- Investigate the cause of equipment failures.
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate bids.
- Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers.
