Job description

These individuals provide support and services to develop production methods, facilities, and systems. They assist in the planning, evaluation, and organization of work. They are employed by:

  • Manufacturing companies
  • Insurance companies
  • The government

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks

  • Participate in the design of the plant layout.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of evaluations, specifications, and reports.
  • Collect and compile operational, experimental, and quality control data.
  • Develop manufacturing and processing methods.
  • Set machine and equipment controls, monitor production, and verify processes.

Advancement and mobility
