These individuals pick up and deliver letters, parcels, packages, newspapers, and messages.

- Collect letters and objects and deliver them by hand.
- Collect payment for items delivered.
- Keep a record of items received and delivered.
- Deliver documents (newspapers, messages, flyers, etc.) to residences or businesses.
