Air Transport Ramp Attendants
Job description
These individuals drive and operate airport runway equipment and vehicles. They also transport luggage and cargo. They work for:

Main tasks
- Drive and operate ground equipment (e.g. tow trucks).
- Position the walkway in front of the cargo bay and open or close the doors.
- Guide the aircraft to the boarding gate.
- Sort and load cargo (freight) and luggage according to the instructions received.
- Unload, sort, and dispatch cargo and baggage.
- Carry the cargo between the plane and the warehouse.
- Clean and prepare the interior of the aircraft for passengers.
- Wash the outside of the aircraft.
