Job description

These individuals supervise and coordinate personnel who assemble, manufacture, and inspect jewellery, carpentry products, sporting goods, etc. They work for various manufacturing companies.

Main tasks

  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan the activities of personnel who assemble, manufacture, and inspect jewellery, carpentry products, sporting goods, etc.
  • Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other sections.
  • Order equipment and supplies.
  • Resolve work-related problems and recommend measures to increase productivity.
  • Manage staff and ensure their training.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
  • Draft reports.
  • Adjust machinery and equipment, as required.
