Before your civil union ceremony
Before your civil union ceremony, you and your intended spouse must complete a number of formalities, some with your officiant, such as the court clerk.
Officiants authorized to solemnize a civil union
For your civil union to be valid, it must be solemnized by an officiant recognized by law and authorized to solemnize civil unions.
