The Childcare Services Registration Portal promotes a more equitable and transparent allocation of spaces to make life easier for Quebec families.
Secure and easy to use, the portal introduces the same rules for all and a uniform, national admissions policy to all childcare centres and subsidized day care centres.
From now on, only children already born, or arrived in their families in the case of adoption, can be registered. For the allocation of spaces, the desired date of entry into childcare is now what will be taken into account, rather than the date of registration on the platform. This new approach aims to better respond to the real needs of families and ensure greater equity.
