Established in 2018, the Quebec Delegation in Singapore (DQSi) promotes Quebec’s expertise and its interests in Southeast Asian countries in the areas of economic, public, institutional, cultural, and educational affairs.

Southeast Asia.

Our Economic Affairs, Research and Innovation services are as follows:

• Supporting Quebec businesses and organizations in their market research or partnership development in Southeast Asia.
• Identify key contacts to support the organization of business meeting programs for Québec companies.
• Inform Québec businesses on the business environment and trends in Southeast Asia.
• Support Québec ministries and organizations looking to establish economic relationships with partners in Southeast Asia.
• Participate in market development and the strengthening of commercial relations between Québec and Southeast Asia.
• Help companies find a location that meets their needs and forge strategic alliances with local partners.

Our Foreign Direct Investment services are as follows:

• Identify potential investors to support large-scale projects in Quebec and promote Quebec expertise in key sectors.
• Facilitate the establishment of companies in Quebec with plans to expand in the strategic sectors of a modern economy, by providing support, financing and access to targeted tax measures.
• Offer a range of services to international companies that have a subsidiary in Quebec.

Our Public Affairs services are as follows:

• Maintain relationships with political institutions and regional organizations.
• Act as a liaison between Quebec and official representatives during political and economic missions.
• Promote the Francophonie in the region.
• Promote Quebec studies at universities in Southeast Asia and develop links between these institutions and those in Quebec.
• Develop and coordinate initiatives in public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy.
• Maintain partnerships with international organizations and members of the diplomatic corps in the region.

Our Cultural Affairs services are as follows:

• Promote various Quebec artistic disciplines (literature, theater, dance, cinema, visual arts, exhibitions) as well as Quebec’s cultural industries to regional promoters.
• Encourage partnerships in the fields of culture and education between private companies, cultural and academic organizations, and other key stakeholders from Quebec and the region.
