Call for Proposals for the Youth Action Plan 2025-2030

The Call for Proposals ended on January 23, 2025.

Selected proposals will be announced in spring 2025. A communication will be sent to all applicants.

In preparation for the upcoming Youth Action Plan 2025-2030, the Secrétariat à la jeunesse (SAJ) aims to offer organizations working with young people the opportunity and capacity to act and contribute to achieving the objectives of the Politique de la jeunesse 2030 (2030 Quebec Youth Policy).

Objectives

This Call for Proposals is divided into 2 components: Support for Youth Mission (Component 1) and Support for Youth Project (Component 2)

Component 1: Support for Youth Mission

Youth mission funding is a form of financial support that helps ensure the stability of organizations and the continuity of their youth initiatives.

For youth services provided in at least 2 administrative regions or Indigenous communities, the maximum annual financial contribution ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.

For youth services provided in more than 9 administrative regions, covering at least all communities of one Indigenous nation or more than one Indigenous nation, the maximum annual financial assistance is $50,000 to $1,000,000.

Component 2: Support for Youth Project

The Support for Youth Project is intended to the implementation of a non-recurring youth project, lasting up to 3 years and directly related to the organization's mission.

Up to $200,000 can be allocated annually for projects implemented in one regional county municipality, one municipality in the same metropolitan community, one Indigenous community, or one equivalent territory.

The maximum annual funding is up to $500,000 for projects implemented in more than one regional county municipality, municipality, metropolitan community, Indigenous community, or in more than one equivalent territory.

The maximum annual financial assistance is up to $1,500,000 for projects implemented in more than 9 administrative regions, cover at least all communities of one Indigenous nation or more than one Indigenous nation.

Eligibility

To be eligible, the organization must, among other things, implement actions (whether through its mission, a program, an initiative, or a component) that contribute to achieving one or more objectives of the 2030 Quebec Youth Policy or that address priorities identified it the consultation jeunesse 2023 (2023 youth consultation).

All eligible applicants for Component 1 (Support for Youth Mission) are also eligible for Component 2 (Support for Youth Project). Organizations may submit an application for both components. An organization can submit more than one application for Component 2.
