Law to better protect vulnerable persons
The law to better protect vulnerable persons (in French) (PDF 368 Kb) (Act modifying the Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure, Public Curator Act and various provisions regarding the protection of persons) allows an improved protection of vulnerable persons. Adapting the protective measure to individual circumstances it allows to:
- emphasize the autonomy of incapable persons and persons experiencing a difficulty;
- foster a greater concern for their wishes and preferences;
- uphold (whenever possible) the exercising of their rights;
- supervise the management of the patrimony of minors.
