Donating your body to an academic institution so that when you die, it may be used for education or research.
Anyone 14 years of age and over can donate their body to education and research. People under 14 can also donate their bodies with the consent of their parents or guardian.
The donor’s next-of-kin generally do not have to pay for transportation of the body to the academic institution.
