Obtain a lot
Vacation lot random draw
You can obtain a vacation lot on public land by participating in the annual random draw conducted by the gouvernement du Québec, in collaboration with the delegated MRCs and the Sépaq.
The registration period is over for the 2021 random draw. The next draw will take place in the fall of 2022.
The lots available for lease each cover an average area of 4,000 m2 and are for the most part wooded, waterfront and accessible by land. Participants may only lease or purchase a single lot allocated by random draw per year.
Random draw procedure
The Sépaq conducts the random draw electronically in the days following the end of the registration period, under an external auditor's supervision.
Each participant will receive an email indicating their rank within 48 hours of the draw. This rank determines the order of land allotment for the next step.
A letter or email of invitation will be sent to the selected participants informing them of the location and date of the allotment. Attendance of participants is required for the allotment of lots.
The government reserves the right to remove any lot from the random draw up to the time of the allotment.
