How to send your new address to the government when you move

Below are various ways to update your address with Québec government departments and bodies. However, we recommend using the Service québécois de changement d'adresse online change of address service when that option is available.

Loans and Bursaries Program

Administered by the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur

Online: 

Use the online services of the Ministère. To ensure your financial aid payments are not suspended, it is important that you notify the Aide financière aux études within 30 days of your moving date.

Occupation competency certificates for construction trades

Administered by the Commission de la construction du Québec

Apprentice card or certificate of vocational qualification

Note : If you contribute to a supplemental pension plan (also called a pension fund) or receive benefits under it, you must notify the administrator of your change of address. As a general rule, the administrator’s name is indicated on your pay slip.
