The witness or expert witness is essential for providing valid evidence. The judge can authorize reimbursement of witnesses’ meal and travel costs.

Affidavit in lieu of testimony

A person’s testimony can be replaced by a written document called a “Statement in lieu of testimony”.

Witnesses Indemnities

Claiming a daily indemnity for transportation, parking, meals and accommodation, whether you testify or not.
