QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 10, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

  • 10,573 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 749,866;
  • 26 new deaths, for a total of 11,966 deaths;
  • 2,554 hospitalizations, for an increase of 118 compared to the previous day;
    • 351 new entries,
    • 233 new discharges;
  • 248 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 9 compared to the previous day;
    • 24 new entries,
    • 33 new discharges;
  • 35,084 samples conducted on January 8.

Vaccination

  • 65,947 doses administered are added, that is 62,722 doses in the last 24 hours and 3,225 doses before January 9, for a total of 15,752,494 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 255,034 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 16,007,528 doses received by Quebecers.
