A review of the data available on Québec.ca as well as their release frequency will be available regarding:

  • Hospitalizations: daily update, except on weekends and on holidays;
  • Cases and deaths: starting April 12, weekly update (Wednesday) presenting data for the last week.

The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

  • 392 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,330,819*;
  • 13 new deaths, for a total of 18,337 deaths;
    • 0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
    • 6 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
    • 7 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;

NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.

  • 1,602 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
  • 1,145 hospitalizations, including 389 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
    • 88 new entries,
    • 87 new discharges;
  • 40 people in intensive care, including 23 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
    • 7 new entries,
    • 6 new discharges;
  • 6,059 samples conducted on April 4;
  • 327,202 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 276,244 positive: 27 declared for yesterday, including 26 positive.

*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.

Vaccination

  • 1 760 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 23,004,422 doses received by Quebecers.
