QUÉBEC CITY, April 6, 2023 /CNW/ - This is the last press release presenting the results of the COVID-19 pandemic. The data will remain available on Québec.ca 
, the open data website of the gouvernement du Québec or on the INSPQ website . A review of the data available on Québec.ca as well as their release frequency will be available regarding:
- Hospitalizations: daily update, except on weekends and on holidays;
- Cases and deaths: starting April 12, weekly update (Wednesday) presenting data for the last week.
The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 392 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,330,819*;
- 13 new deaths, for a total of 18,337 deaths;
- 0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 6 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 7 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
- 1,602 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 1,145 hospitalizations, including 389 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
- 88 new entries,
- 87 new discharges;
- 40 people in intensive care, including 23 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
- 7 new entries,
- 6 new discharges;
- 6,059 samples conducted on April 4;
- 327,202 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 276,244 positive: 27 declared for yesterday, including 26 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 1 760 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 23,004,422 doses received by Quebecers.

To limit the spread of the coronavirus as much as possible, it is important to follow basic preventive measures such as hand washing, physical distancing, wearing a face covering and following the instructions in effect.
