Today, Cabinet officially appointed Julie Baillargeon-Lavergne as Québec’s Public Curator, a post she has held in interim since January 2022.

A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2007, she began her career at the Curateur public du Québec that same year as a litigator. She later served as legal coordinator before being named assistant to the executive director of legal affairs in 2017. In 2018, she was promoted to the position of executive assistant to the Public Curator and then secretary general and director of the Public Curator’s office.
