In addition to the specific rules governing the species you wish to hunt or the site at which you wish to hunt, there are a number of general rules governing the following elements:
- Poaching
- Animals that must be declared
- Vehicles, aircraft and boats
- Compulsory fluorescent orange bib
- Hunting times
- Searching for game
- Restrictions on shooting from a public road
- Registering game
- Transportation and exports
- Sale, purchase and possession of game and fur
- Hunting with animals
- Killing by accident or mistake
