Mobile photo radar in roadwork zones

To ensure the safety of road users in roadwork zones, mobile photo radar monitoring may be used. Signs will be posted to inform users.

In work zones on provincial roads

Construction sites on roads managed by the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable may be monitored. To find out where these sites are located, go to the directory listing where photo radar devices may be used on specific work sites on Québec 511.

In municipal roadwork zones

Here is the list of municipal roadwork zones where photo radar enforcement may be in effect:

Montréal region

Disruption: Major (weekdays and weekends)
Direction(s):Eastbound and westbound
Location:City of Montréal, on boulevard Henri-Bourassa East, between Lajeunesse and De Saint-Firmin streets
Speed limit:30 km/h
Enforcement period:June to November 2026; 24/7
Police service:Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM)

Several additional photo radar devices will be installed in municipal work sites over the next few years.
