Electric wheelchair and mobility scooters

Rules for riding

Users of electric wheelchairs, three-wheel mobility scooters or four-wheel mobility scooters must follow certain rules to travel safely on public roads.

Motorized mobility aids authorized

Only devices corresponding to the description of motorized mobility aids (AMM) may be used on public roads.

Mandatory equipment

Some equipment is mandatory and recommended when using an electric wheelchair, three-wheel mobility scooter or four-wheel mobility scooter on a public road or terrain.
