Conditions for admission to fully online French courses for immigrants living in Québec

Online French courses for immigrants are for you if you meet these two conditions:

  • Be born outside of Canada;
  • Be 16 years of age or older.

You must also be in one of the following situations:

  • having obtained the Canadian citizenship;
  • having obtained permanent residence;
  • having obtained the authorization to submit an application for permanent residence locally;
  • hold a valid Québec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ);
  • hold a valid Certificate of acceptance from Quebec (Certificat d’acceptation du Québec – CAQ);
  • hold a temporary residence permit for one of the following situations:
    • work, 
    • studies,
    • humanitarian or public interest reasons;
  • have filed an asylum application.

Accompanying family members (spouse and dependent children) may also enroll in these courses. However, they must be 16 years of age or older and be in Québec.
