Description of fully online French courses for immigrants living in Québec

With online courses, you learn French at your own pace using your computer.

Online French courses also allow you to discover Québec, its culture and its values.

Course formats

There are two types of online courses:

  • Tutored courses: where a resource person helps you in your learning of French. This person facilitates online classes and answers questions. The tutor will also correct your homework and evaluate your participation in the course;
  • Self-study courses: you complete the online exercises and activities on your own. Your knowledge is automatically assessed throughout the course. You can also chat online with other students in the course.

Specialized modules by job area are offered in self-study format in the following areas:

  • Administration, Law and Business;
  • Engineering and Applied Sciences;
  • Health and Nursing;
  • Tourism and trade.
