Eligibility requirements for intern scholarships

To be eligible, you must:

• Be registered in the final compulsory internship of one of the targeted training programs.
• Be studying at a recognized public or private educational institution located in Québec.
• Complete the internship in Québec, barring special circumstances for certain Québec border regions permitting daily return travel.
• Do the internship in a public, subsidized private or community institution.
• Complete the internship during the award year, that is, between September 1 of the current year and August 31 of the following year.

You are not eligible if:

• You have already received the total amount available under the scholarship program for the same training.
• You are participating in a work-oriented internship or a probationary period, except for the final education internship, during which a maximum of 5 days of paid substitute teaching is accepted.
• You are receiving a sum of money or benefiting from a bursary outside of the Québec Loans and Bursaries Program, conditional upon completion of the internship.
