This grant program is aimed at promoting and expanding Québec studies in American universities and colleges.
More specifically, it is designed to support academic activities on Québec in the United States, to stimulate collaboration between universities in Québec and the United States, to organize Québec-themed academic activities, and to facilitate professional and student exchanges.
The latter is organized in two parts, with categories and themes specific to each component which are as follows.
The Québec – United States University Grant Program arose from merging the Québec research initiative program with the Québec Studies Program of the Minister of International Relations and la Francophonie (MRIF).
