Quebec needs new talent to fill jobs in high demand in the construction sector. Four new fast-track courses will be offered starting January 2024, across Quebec:

Fast-track study programs
Our fast-track courses are designed to give you the skills you need to take part in a wide range of projects, such as
- Infrastructure construction;
- Hospital construction;
- School construction;
- Housing construction.
Fast-track training courses range from 4 to 6 months and lead to a Skills Training Certificate (STC). The STC is a fast-track training program leading to a recognized qualification, offered by a school service centre, an English-language school board or a special-status school board.
An STC leads to landing a job and is mainly aimed at adults. To learn more about the advantages of these training programs, watch the video (in French only) Qu’est-ce qu’une attestation d’études professionnelles ?

This grant is awarded upon graduation.
You could receive 475$ per week in additional financial assistance if you are taking part in an employment assistance program. Meet with an employment assistance officer at a Services Québec office to evaluate your situation and eligibility.
