Find an Employability Services Organization

Employability services organizations are available to help you in your job search. There are nearly 400 employability organizations across Québec’s 17 administrative regions.

The Répertoire des organismes spécialisés en employabilité (French only) makes it easy to find organizations that provide employability services. You can search by:

• Region
• Type of clientele
• Service

Once you have found an organization, call to make an appointment. Someone will evaluate your situation and your needs, then help you determine the best solution for you.

Employability services may vary from one organization to another. We recommend that you find out which services you can access before going to an organization by consulting the Répertoire des organismes spécialisés en employabilité (in French only).

Most of these organizations offer the following services:

• Access to job search tools (computers, fax machines, documentation, etc.)
• Help with a variety of activities related to job search, integration and retention
• Help with finding a job or going back to school
• Job readiness activities
• Help with writing a résumé or cover letter and preparing for interviews
• Career counselling
• Career transition assistance
• Information on occupations and job opportunities near you or in your region
• Validation of your career choices, skills and knowledge
• Support for entering or re-entering the labour market
• Support to maximize the transfer of personal and professional skills to a new job
• Internships and job shadowing
