These individuals install and repair gas installations and related equipment (gas meters, regulators, heating units, etc.).
Environment

Main tasks
- Study the technical specifications to determine the location of the facilities and the equipment required.
- Measure and mark benchmarks for pipe installation.
- Install, adjust, and maintain meters, regulators, gas heaters and their components.
- Check pipes and connections for leaks and replace defective equipment or components.
- Answer calls for gas leaks.
- Assist in the investigation of the origin of explosions and fires caused by gas leaks.
- Draft reports.
- Inform customers about standards, safety devices, and maintenance of gas system installations.
