Main tasks

Water Pipeline Maintenance Personnel

  • Adjust, clean, oil, and repair water distribution system equipment (pumping and chlorination equipment).
  • Search for and locate water leaks.
  • Repair pipes, valves, or outlet pipelines.
  • Install water meters.

Gas Pipeline Maintenance Personnel

  • Check and oil pipeline valves.
  • Examine pipelines and gas leak reports for leaks, location, and extent.
  • Unearth pipes and repair leaks.
  • Maintain records of repairs, their location, and the condition of the pipelines.
  • Provide information on the underground pipeline system.
  • Observe excavation work to ensure pipeline protection.
