Main tasks
Water Pipeline Maintenance Personnel
- Adjust, clean, oil, and repair water distribution system equipment (pumping and chlorination equipment).
- Search for and locate water leaks.
- Repair pipes, valves, or outlet pipelines.
- Install water meters.
Gas Pipeline Maintenance Personnel
- Check and oil pipeline valves.
- Examine pipelines and gas leak reports for leaks, location, and extent.
- Unearth pipes and repair leaks.
- Maintain records of repairs, their location, and the condition of the pipelines.
- Provide information on the underground pipeline system.
- Observe excavation work to ensure pipeline protection.
