Quality Control Inspector (Aquatic Products)

Job description

These individuals ensure the quality of aquatic products from processing plants. They inspect and control the hygiene and cleanliness of premises and equipment. They monitor staff practices and analyze various food quality components. They work in processing plants.

Main tasks

  • Control the hygiene and cleanliness of the plant facilities.
  • Ensure food quality.
  • Establish or maintain a quality management program (QMP).
  • Ensure the enforcement of laws pertaining to the processing of aquatic products.
  • Monitor and inspect product processing and preparation.
  • Analyze food samples to assess quality.
