Job description

These individuals supervise and coordinate personnel who process and manufacture various products (textiles, fur, leather, etc.). They are employed by:

  • Tanneries
  • Textile manufacturers
  • Manufacturers of fabric, fur, and leather products

Main tasks

  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan the activities of personnel who process and manufacture textile products, fabrics, fur, and leather.
  • Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other sections.
  • Order equipment and supplies.
  • Solve work-related problems and recommend measures to increase productivity.
  • Manage and train staff.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards.
  • Draft reports.
  • Adjust machinery and equipment, as required.
