Mineral Processing Inspectors

Job description

These individuals oversee the processing of metals and minerals. They monitor, sample, and test the raw materials and products obtained through processing.

Main tasks

  • Inspect products at various stages of processing to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Classify and label raw materials or finished products according to classification standards.
  • Take product samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Determine the strength, density, durability, and compliance with product standards.
  • Report problems or defects in products.
  • Complete verification and test reports.
