Job description

These individuals plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate organizations. They formulate, alone or with a board of directors, the guiding policies of these organizations. They work in:

  • Healthcare organizations
  • Educational service organizations
  • Community and social service organizations
  • Mutual associations
  • Social economy businesses (non-profit organizations or cooperatives)

  • Establish the organization’s objectives by formulating or approving its policies and programs.

  • Approve the human resources management plan.
  • Select middle managers, directors, and other management personnel.
