Job description

These individuals ensure that production logistics policies are applied in their workplace. They make sure that merchandise is moved and shipped on time. They ensure that work and production schedules are respected and that tasks are assigned. They also monitor the progress of projects and participate in them. They work in warehouses or for companies in the public and private sectors.

  • Process orders and instructions received from customers.
  • Verify orders and ship them to production or construction sites.
  • Evaluate material needs for production.
  • Notify staff in charge of production logistics coordination of any labour or material shortages.
  • Act as a link between the warehouse and production or construction sites.
