Job description

These individuals use electronic devices (electroencephalograph, myograph, cardiograph, etc.) to record the bioelectrical activity of organs in the human body. They share data and images collected with physicians to enable them to diagnose certain diseases, lesions, or anomalies. They work in hospitals and medical clinics.

Main tasks

  • Prepare people for medical exams.
  • Install devices to measure electrical variations.
  • Record, process, and analyze the bioelectric data collected.
  • Continue the examination based on the recorded data.
  • Use a variety of devices and make sure they work properly.
  • Transmit test results to medical specialists.
  • Ensure people’s safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with medical specialists and technical staff.
  • Train and supervise students and Technologists.
