Main tasks
Reconnaissance Patrolmen
- Go beyond the front line of the battle zone to gather information.
- Carry out reconnaissance patrols by vehicle and on foot. Naval Acoustics and Electronic Sensor Operators
- Manipulate sensitive audio sensors within a water column.
- Compile and analyze acoustic information.
- Detect, locate, and track enemy submarines. Combat Engineers
- Provide drinking water to troops by purifying local supplies.
- Carry out construction and maintenance work on bridges, roads, airfields, etc.
- Drive vehicles.
- Operate equipment to support engineering operations.
Advancement and mobility
- Experience and additional training lead to supervisory positions.
