Job description

Painters and sculptors create artistic works (paintings, engravings, sculptures, etc.).

Art teachers teach students techniques and methods of artistic expression.

Main tasks

Painters

  • Select and prepare materials for a work.

Sculptor

  • Select and prepare materials for a work.
  • Shape, carve, and use various materials (clay, ice, paper, stone, wood, metal, etc.) to create three-dimensional artistic works.
  • Present one’s works at exhibitions and sell them to clients (individuals, art galleries, etc.).

Art teachers

  • Teach students techniques related to various art forms (drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.).
